Summer term project! Building Fairy Houses from beach pebbles, pretty hand-painted wooden doors and lots of imagination.

At the Easter Art Camp, one of our favourite activities was decorating some Totem Poles for the beach.

Nothing beats the colours and inspiration of a hot air balloon, beginning on the page before we made 3D versions.

After painting three different designs, making a basket and connecting with string these fabulous balloons are about to take flight!

Tear patterned paper then glue into posiiton, an effective, fast way to decorate.

Always a little messy, but such a great way to to feel different mediums by hand and create something special.

Sunshine watercolours are easy and fun to paint. Just so cheerful!

We created a Welcome Pole at the entrance to the Lodge to say hello, come in, have a great time at Fringe by the Sea.

The huge windows in Abbey Church Hall were too tempting to leave unadorned ….. so fishes, boats, swimmers and mermaids were painted.
